Our Papagayo Tour begins at Marina Rubicon in Playa Blanca Marina.
Facing north direction, we left Playa Blanca biking the coastline though a beautiful seafront promenade to get into the Ajaches Natural Park. Eventually then we move away from the coast to gain a little height inside the park to bike along its cliffs ́ soft track trails, up and down, and although the trail gains here a little more elevation, the beautiful ocean views invite us to pedal a few kms more.
Our return point is located about 10 km from the tour starting point to where we will bike along the seafront, pedalling above the cliffs to see several beautiful small bays and crystal clear water beaches that invite us a dip. Overcoming the beaches we come back to Playa Blanca, but already following along the promenade with an easy ride, we can reach the lighthouse “Pechiquera” from where we can have great views to the islands of Lobos and Fuerteventura. We then retrace the promenade to end our tour at the Harbour Marina Rubicon

Our East Coast of The Island Tour stars from Playa Los Charcos, in Costa Teguise, going to Los Ancones with a strong but very short slope that helps us warming up our musculature. We continue our ride by kind of technical tracks to access gradually to loose stone areas. We can observe then migratory birds feeding, as this abrupt geography serves them as camouflage areas. With the ocean on our right, we will find out that this side of the coast of the island is really wild; Here the sea strikes with great force and is quite impressive when there’s is groundswell: Giant waves crashing against walls of lava. We reached then the seaside town Los Cocoteros, passing by its beautiful natural swimming-pool and heading north to naturist seaside town El Charco del Palo, which offers us postcard views. A km far on our left, we find the village of Mala and a large area of sand and dunes that are really beautiful. The sand area become then a vast lava field, wild and impressive. We arrive then to fishing town of Arrieta and start going uphill Tabayesco to start our returning way a km later passing through the highest area of town Guatiza, and start to go down to Costa Teguise flanked by two great volcanoes at just 5km from the end of our great Mountain Bike Tour.

At Famara, at the Atlantic Ocean shore and with impressive views to Famara Cliff, is the starting point of this exciting Tour for our senses. This tour goes totally off-road heading south by trails and tracks, easy-going ups and downs, and always enjoying breath-taking views to the sea. We have the option to bike to the highest part of a volcano, and from there we can gaze at Soo desert land, farmlands, neighbour small towns in its typical white houses , and the blue ocean. In a short descent we will continue our route: the only noise you’ll hear is that of your bike. Peace and quiet everywhere. In Caleta de Caballo the land formation changes and become more pebbled and rocky. The road takes us to the Club La Santa, we will surround the town and go down the old Salinas. Going through the village of La Santa, we keep the seaside on our right, going up and down until we reach an impressive volcano, brightened up by its black colour and the intense reddish colour. This is the point of return; The next 5 km are the same way, but in Caleta de Caballo we do not stray from the seafront track. A wide and entertaining path of compacted sand that contrasts with the blue of the ocean. We spot Famara in the distance, our arrival point and end of our Famara Queen Tour!
